Video Documentaries of Lantern Floating Hawai’i Continue to Win Festival Awards

For the second consecutive year, Shinnyo-en produced video documentaries of the Lantern Floating Hawai’i ceremony received awards at major U.S. film festivals and progams.

At Houston WorldFest, one of the oldest international film festivals in North America and the oldest independent film festival in the world, Shinnyo-en video productions based on Lantern Floating Hawai’i 2011 received Platinum (highest-level) Awards in the categories of directing, editing, and live events.

Shinnyo-en video productions about Lantern Floating Hawai’i 2011 also won two bronze (second-level) Telly Awards in the categories of cultural and live events. The Telly Awards program was created in 1978 and honors groundbreaking film and video productions, web commercials, videos and films, and outstanding local, regional, and cable television programs and commercials.
